The prognostic significance of TP53 mutations in patients with right-sided and left-sided colorectal cancer

Key Finding:

While the prevalence of gain-of-function and non-gain-of-function TP53 mutations is higher in left-sided colorectal cancer versus right-sided, these mutations are associated with a worse median overall survival only for patients with right-sided colorectal cancer.
